Who knew that a flooring store opened in September 1961 on Myrtle Avenue in Ridgewood by my father Jimmy Giannini and his brother Mike Giannini would still be going strong 49 years later?  They have both retired and we have survived three recessions and are still going strong.  We carry on their tradition of making customers for life.  Most of our retail, builder and commercial clients have been using our services for generations, passing down their wonderful experiences at Taub's to their sons and daughters.  I've personally installed floors for their parents, in their own homes, job sites and continue to service their children's needs.  Most of our personnel have been with us since they themselves were in their late teens and are now in their 30's to 60's.

To give you an example of how long some of our employees have been with us: Joe Napoli 33 years., Harry Wittlen 33 yrs., Arnold Bruzzese 43 yrs., Anthony Russo 20 yrs., and Ismet Capric, now my partner at 38 years old, has been with us for 20 yrs.  There are many more with similar longevity!
